Fruit Syrup

Cook Time 10 minutes
Servings: 4
Course: Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fruit we use frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Equipment

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a small saucepan. (If using fresh peaches or pears, I would peel and chop first)
  2. Heat on low to medium/low. Stirring frequently so nothing burns.
  3. Bring to a low boil and smash all fruit.
  4. Keep at a low boil until it reaches desired thickness.
  5. Transfer to a mason jar and enjoy.

Notes

This syrup is great on pancakes, waffles, ice-cream and in lemonade. It will store in the fridge for a couple of days. For longer term storage, store in freezer until needed.
