As a blogger, gardener, home cook and so much more there are things that I love using. Things that I love to tell people about and share with them. Some items I will share just because I love them and get no additional perk. There are some items though that I share because I love, but I also have an affiliate or referral link with them. These items I will get some sort of kick back or benefit from referring them at no additional cost to you. By you purchasing through my link you pay the same amount, sometimes less, and it helps our family and this blog. Below I will be listing some of my all time favorite things, why we love them and where you can get them. Check back every once in a while and see if we have fallen in love with anything new lately.
Greenstalk Garden Planters
I have been growing in Greenstalks for about 3 years now. I have 2 original towers and 1 leaf tower. Living in zone 9b in northern California, in an apartment, we are allowed only three planters. These three planters give me the space to plant 114 pockets. That is amazing to me and it has made the world of a difference to our family. The video below shows my 2022 gardening year pretty well. If you are interested in getting a Greenstalk you can click here. You will get a pop up window asking for your email address. You will get emailed a coupon of $10 off a purchase of $75 or more, I believe it has to have a planter in the purchase. $10 savings is always a great perk in my book.
Coffee
My love affair with coffee started much too late in life. It has been stifled by high blood pressure a little bit, but is still actively a part of my life. I just drink Decaf now. We have a couple of companies that are our go to coffee companies and one that I just like to suggest all of these are favorites in our home.
Angelino’s
Angelinos is my go to for K-Pods. They have something for everyone in the house, even though I miss the delicious fun flavors of their caffeinated coffee, I still love their decaf. We order in bulk that way we can save a little bit here and a little bit there. When we buy bulk it brings us to the same price we would pay at our local Winco. The coffee is much better in my opinion and it only takes 3 days to get here after ordering, usually. When you sign up using my link you get $10 off and I get $10 towards my next order. That is a win-win in my book.
Bones Coffee
We also love Bones Coffee for our whole beans. They have delicious flavors and they taste amazing when I make pour over coffee. Shark Bite is amazing Iced. Highland Grog is amazing hot! You also have to try Strawberry Shortcake, it is better than it sounds I promise. The code I have for them gets you 10% off your order and it gives me points that I can redeem in the future, you can find that code here.
Whispering Willow Farm
This is one I do not get any perk for but Jill and Nathan have created my all time favorite coffee and it is worth every delicious penny. I have a few bags that I ordered right before my caffiene restriction and that will be my welcome back to caffeine cup of coffee. I get their Morning Harvest coffee and it is just soul soothing.
Azure Standard
You will hear me sing the praises of Azure Standard over and over again on this blog. I love what this company has done and how it has blessed my family, they are definitely one of my favorite companies. They took out the middleman essentially. As I was becoming aware of the issues with our supply chain, quality of food and over all nutrition, I started getting very overwhelmed with the cost of food. The cost of REAL food. Food that has a lot of nutritional value, that hadn’t been sprayed with pesticides and that was readily available near me. While was on this search and already in process of trying to stock a decent pantry, I found Azure Standard.
You create an account, for free, and you find a drop near you to for grocery pick up. They have a shipping option, but that isn’t cost effective for me, so I always suggest finding a drop. Then you start shopping. You will want to watch the price per ounce or per pound and see how that changes with how much you buy. Herbs for example is almost half the price per pound to buy a pound verses 4 oz. That is also so much cheaper than buying that quantity of little spice jars at the grocery store. When you cook from scratch you go through a crazy amount of herbs. You bet I buy them by the pound, and I use it all.
If you sign up using my link and place a $100 order, which is easy to do, then I get a $25 credit towards my next purchase. The amazing thing is everyone who has an account has that referral link, it isn’t special. So you could tell your friends about it and earn money towards your groceries too. My referral link is here and I have a ton of Azure Hauls on YouTube if you want to see some of my favorite things. If you want suggestions on how to start purchasing in bulk and building a pantry feel free to reach out. I will be doing more content on this, especially regarding doing it in a small space, but until then I love connecting with people and helping them make positive changes in their homes in an affordable way.
Coming Soon
I will continue to update this page over the next couple of months with all of my links and favorite products, these 3 categories are my top ones that I share all the time and talk about the most so I wanted to get these on here first.
