When decorating our home, I like to find or create pieces that will last for a while and that can flow through any season. This ribbon garland does just that. I can easily switch out 6 ribbons for another color and boom it is ready for another season. I love the textural differences in the ribbons and the farmhouse vibe that it gives.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  • Measure width of location you would like to hang garland. And the height of space.
  • Cut Twine a few inches longer then desired width.
  • Tie nots on the each end of twine notating width you want to garland to be.
  • Decide what pattern you want your ribbons to be.
  • Cut desired number strips of each style ribbon. You will want the strips to be twice as long as the height of the space you want to fill.
  • Tie Ribbons on to twine in desired order.
  • Hang the Ribbon Garland

As always these projects are meant to be an inspiration for you. A basic framework for you to add your personal touches to. If you make a ribbon garland feel free to tag me in it so I can cheer you on.
